The site was previously occupied by a former primary school therefore extensive demolition works were required along with Civil Engineering works to make way for new services.
The homes are being specified and constructed with a view to achieving a ‘very good’ Eco Homes rating therefore reducing the Environmental effects of the new buildings. Aspects of the specification include;
- High level of insulation.
- High efficiency - low emission boilers.
- Low water use sanitary fittings.
