Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church

Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church

T & A Kernoghan were contracted by the Trustees of Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church to carry out the project.

The scope of works related to the following;-

- Demolition of existing porch and construction of a new 2 storey facade.
- Replacement of specialist plaster mouldings.
- Replacement of existing window frames with retention of existing stained glass.

This was a very challenging project as the client still required the use of the facility at the weekend. Therefore a lost of detailed planning and programming was carried by our Contracts Team to ensure that this key objective was achieved. Aspects of this included;-

- Ensuring any disruptive works were commenced and finished within a set 5 day period Monday-Friday.
- Each Friday a site working was delegated on that day to clear the site, internally and externally plus cordon off work areas.
- The church and its ground were inspected with the Minister each Friday to ensure their satisfaction prior to use by the congregation at the weekend.
