Extension & Refurbishment Of Nursing Home, Belfast
This project involved the extension and refurbishment of this existing nursing home in East Belfast for the Abbeyfield Society.
T & A Kernoghan were engaged by the client for this development with the objective of providing additional residential accommodation along with the upgrading of existing catering/administrative facilities. This was to ensure that the necessary level of support could be provided to the increased population within the facility.
The new building is a traditional masonry structure with pitched tiled roofs and incorporates all specialist building services required for the nursing care of the elderly. On completion the site team were commended by the client for delivering a modern high quality building without causing any disruption to their operations.
