Jet Centre - Bowling Alley & Restaurant
This project was carried out for Movie House Cinemas, a client that T & A Kernoghan have a relationship with going back over 20 years. Further to the purchase of an existing commercial property T & A Kernoghan were brought on board prior to the completion of the final design so that they could give advice on aspects such as programming, buildability etc. Upon completion of the design stage T & A Kernoghan commenced works on site with the scope of works including;
- Strip out of the existing portal framed building.
- Alterations to the structural elements to create a more open plan area.
- Construction of new bowling alley, restaurant and children’s play area.
A 14 week programme was the maximum period allowed as this was what was factored into the Client’s business case in order to make the project feasible. An accelerated programme was prepared by our Contract Manager based on double shifts and working weekends. Subsequent to this and through the efforts of all, the project was completed on time.
