Carrowdore Community Centre
The scope of works involved construction of a single storey community centre incorporating a gym,
multi-purpose hall, soft play, meeting rooms, offices, kitchen, staff room, W.C’s, changing room, hall, foyer and lobby constructed with precast concrete floor slabs and insitu concrete, blockwork walls, pitched timber roof/flat timber roof, metal decking and precast concrete flat roof on trenchfill and strip and pad foundations, together with mechanical and electrical works, drainage and siteworks.
As in the Donaghadee project the same professional approach was adapted by the contracts team. This involved pre-contract analysis and a pre-contract meeting to ensure our team identified any design issues with the architect and made any amendments necessary to the drawing prior to project commencement, therefore improving the project value and delivery.
