Eden Vale Phase 3
The scope of works relates to the construction of 12nr timber frame residential units comprising of 7nr 3 bed 2 storey houses and 5nr 3 bed 3 storey houses.
The site is located in the Eden Vale area of Carrickfergus, a densely populated residential area. Our experience Contracts Team has worked in such similar scenarios to ensure that the disruption and inconvenience for the residents will be minimised.
Examples of how this will be managed will include;
• Mechanical road sweeping on a regular basis
• Established of a site specific traffic management plan to control the access and egress of site traffic especially HGV’S
• Registering the site in the considerate Contractor Scheme to ensure that the relevant procedures and systems of work are externally assessed to ensure standards are maintained.
The scheme which has been designed by Property Design Services (NIHE) and is specified and detailed to comply with the requirement of code level 3 for Sustainable Homes. This is the standard is that is now required to achieve the objective of reducing the environmental effects of new buildings in relation to pollution, energy consumed and materials used.
