Social Housing
North Phase 3
Scope of works includes the erection and completion of 24 No. two storey residential dwellings and a four storey apartment block of 18 residential apartments including mechanical and electrical installation and associated external works, site development works and drainage including works to public roads.
The site is located in the heart of South Belfast off the main Ormeau Road and amongst a highly populated residential and retail area. Our Contracts Team devised a suitable vehicular and pedestrian management plan ensuring;
- Access and egress would not inconvenience the local residents or proprietors
- Defined set time for deliveries thus not causing any inconvenience or nuisance to neighbours, local residents, local business and members of the public.
- Adopted our hoarding to ensure that pedestrian’s were not forced to cross the street unnecessarily.
- The site access point approach roads and footpaths are kept clean at all times and the wheels of all construction traffic are washed prior to vehicles exiting the site.
These units are designed to achieve code level 3 for Sustainable Homes and objectives associated with this include reduction of water consumption and overall running costs through increased efficiency.
