Craigavon Community Hub
The scope of works involved construction of a part single storey / part two storey Community Hub and connection sports / multi use hall with high floor to ceiling height and a large children’s play area.
The works will be fully finished, decorated, fitted out and with full provision of services externally works to include drainage, siteworks and external services. Also the existing car park will be extended and resurfaced, paths and paved areas leading to the leisure centre to make good and where necessary reinstated.
Construction comprises steel frame of which a steel frame is supported, the envelope of the building is of traditional construction incorporating external finishes of brick, render and stone work as well as curtain walling.
Due to the close proximity to the local leisure centre and the share car parking area, it is essential for the contracts management team to liaise with the leisure centre in order to minimise disruption to their customers and ensure safety.
